- I will contact the list of editors from the journals chosen beforehand by email.
In the email I will introduce myself and the viral analyticsproject. In this introduction, I will include both the voyeur toolswebsite and the tapor website.The introduction will include asummary of our project and what we are planning to do with thisinitial interview. We will state that the interview will takearound 30 minutes and will be recorded and that I will be takingnotes. At the end of the email I will ask the editors if they wouldbe able to take part in the interview to help us determine whatjournals would like to see in an embedded tool. Once I get theinterview date and time from the editors I will skype them on thedate indicated. At the beginning of the interview I will give thema short summary of our research and inform them that the interviewwill be recorded and that I will be taking notes. I will then askif they had time to look at the voyeur tools. If not then I willgive them a brief walk through of voyeur pointing out the toolcurrently included and what they do. I will then briefly go overthe tools in tapor since there are many more tools there. Once theeditor is familiar with the tools I will continue on with theinterview using the questions in the questionnaire.
