- I will contact the list of editors from the journals chosen beforehand by email.
In the email I will introduce myself and the viral analyticsproject. In this introduction, I will include both the voyeur toolswebsite and the tapor website.The introduction will include asummary of our project and what we are planning to do with thisinitial interview. We will state that the interview will takearound 30 minutes and I will be taking notes. At the end of theemail I will ask the editors if they would be able to take part inthe interview to help us determine what journals would like to seein an embedded tool. Once I get the interview date and time fromthe editors I will skype them on the date indicated. At thebeginning of the interview I will give them a short summary of ourresearch and inform them that the interview will be recorded andthat I will be taking notes. I will then ask if they had time tolook at the voyeur tools. If not then I will give them a brief walkthrough of voyeur pointing out the tool currently included and whatthey do. I will then briefly go over the tools in tapor since thereare many more tools there. Once the editor is familiar with thetools I will continue on with the interview using the questions inthe questionnaire.
