While developing a digitization strategy for the History and Archives project, it may be helpful to refer to the best practices used by the University of Alberta Library System. Please review the Metadata Standards of the University of Alberta Libraries and the UA Libraries Technical Specifications for scanned media for more information. For the sake of comparison, it may also be relevant to examine the Digitization Strategy of Library and Archives Canada as well as the Internal Digitization Standards used by Library and Archives Canada.
