Introduction

My name is Aigul Kantoro, and I am from a small country Kyrgyzstan (with population of 6 million), Central Asia (one of the post-Soviet countries).


Education

I have completed Bachelor's degree in International Relations with a specialization in Economics. At present I am a first-year thesis-based Digital Humanities (Individualized) graduate student.


Why did I choose DH?

While deciding on which program to go for my graduate school, I have found DH appealing as it combines research and computational methods including text analysis, data analysis. My research interest namely in the topic of data privacy, higher education, international education and policy along with data science, and I would like to explore this using DH program's scope and tools.
