This page summarizes the decisions about gamification:

Avatar

  • We are going to have a gender-neutral avatar.
  • This avatar will be hierarchical in that it will have a body, carriers (sashes, belts and so on), and ornaments.
  • As a student completes tasks and gets badges they can see their avatar.

Project Representation

  • We want to have a representation of the progress on a project. It will be line based.
  • It will have markers for tasks and for any badges.

Task Representation

We want ways of representing a task from the perspective of the user iincluding:

  • Fuel bar with percentage
  • Target Number of Chores where the task is defined as a number of these things - the idea is that then
  • Deadline
  • Words or paragraphs
