Summary
The Ukrainian Folklore Audio Project is a joint project betweenHumanities Computing and Modern Languages and Cultural Studies. Weare creating and implementing the interface for volunteers toparticipate in scholarly crowd sourcing. The participants will usethe interface to transcribe or translate the recordings ofUkrainian songs and narratives. Our goals are to understand themotivations and participation of the crowd in an academicproject.
