Stakeholders and Expectations refers to the interested parties involved in or affected by the project.

Rationale:

Identifying these parties is important because stakeholders identify who has a stake in the project and asking creates transparency between the parties involved regarding how each party is contributing to the final project. It is important to identify the parties at the beginning of the project, as well as what each party is getting out of the project.

Questionnaire:

  • What's the point of the project?
  • Who are the interested parties in this project?
  • What does each stakeholder get out of the project?
  • How will you prioritize the needs of stakeholders?

Recommended Methods :

Interviewing, Persona Usage Scenarios, Focus Groups, Design Research, Charters, and Developmental Evaluation.
