While developing a digitization strategy for the History and Archives project, it may be helpful to refer to the best practices used by the University of Alberta Library System. Please review the File:UA Libraries Metadata Standards.pdf and the File:University of Alberta Libraries Technical Specifications.pdf for more information. For the sake of comparison, it may also be relevant to examine the File:LAC Digitization Strategy.pdf of Library and Archives Canada as well as the File:LAC Internal Digitization Standards.pdf.
